THE LIST
What this is, in one paragraph and four lines.
rhdrop is a waiting list on Robinhood Chain in which every new ticket fires one shot at a random place ahead of it. You mine a ticket in your browser for free or buy one for 0.001 ETH, and it takes the next place on the list of the current drop. Everyone who joins after you may knock you out, and every ticket bought after you adds to the pot. When the list holds 1,000 tickets, or has been quiet for 6 hours, the drop closes: the survivors share the pot, the mining difficulty resets, and the next drop opens at #1. Nobody runs it. Mints move the list, block hashes decide the shots, and survivors take their share themselves.
- GET ON THE LIST. Mine a ticket for free or buy one for 0.001 ETH. It takes the next place: #284 on the list.
- EVERY TICKET IS A SHOT. Each new ticket fires at one random place ahead of it. A live ticket there loses a life; a dead one means a miss.
- THE DROP. At 1,000 tickets or after 6 hours of silence the drop closes. Bought survivors share 90 % of the pot, mined survivors 10 %, by the number of tickets behind each of them. Your share sits inside your ticket: claim it and the ticket burns, or keep the ticket with the ETH inside.
- AND AGAIN. The drop resets the difficulty. The first places of the next drop are cheap again for whoever is there, people and farms alike, and the new tickets start shooting.
THE TICKET
A document, not an illustration.
Every token is a ticket of the list, drawn by the contract from chain data: its place, its lives, who shot at it and how much ETH is inside. Colour on a ticket is a state, never decoration.
- PLACE
- #1, #2 and on, counted inside one drop. Token ids run through all drops from 1; the place is the number inside the drop.
- SOURCE
- MINED, with the difficulty in bits its solution had to meet, or PAID. The rings on a mined ticket's proof block are the real leading zero bits of its solution, so a lucky one shows more rings than its bits.
- LIVES
- A bought ticket has two lives: the second one is its shield. A mined ticket has one.
- ALIVE AHEAD
- A live ticket counts the live tickets in front of it. The number goes down as they are shot.
- AFTER A CLAIM
- The ticket burns. Its picture is gone; the event stays on chain.
- FOR GOOD
- Knocked out tickets stay in your wallet as NFTs. There is no limit per wallet and no cap on the number of tickets.
| State | What you see | The line on it |
|---|---|---|
| LIVE | day, a light plate, green life pips | 41 alive ahead of you. |
| CRACKED | a bought ticket hit once: a warm plate, an ink crack, one empty pip | Shield cracked by #612. One life left. |
| SYBIL | out: night, a red rubber stamp across the number | Shot by #613. Ser, this is a sybil. |
| SURVIVOR | its drop closed and it lived: confetti, its share in two figures | Survivor. Drop #7. |
The first survivor of each group carries an amber ribbon, FRONT OF THE LINE (chapter 06).
MINE OR BUY
Two ways onto the list. Both take the next place.
Mining
- YOURS ALONE
- Your address is inside the hash. A solution found for you is worth nothing to anyone else, and nobody can send it in your place.
- FOR THIS DROP ONLY
- The anchor is a recent block of the current drop, at most 35,000 blocks old (about an hour). Solutions cannot be stockpiled for the next drop: when a drop closes, solutions found against it are void.
- IN BATCHES
- One mining transaction carries up to 300 solutions. Each one is checked against the difficulty of that moment, and the difficulty rises inside the batch; a solution that falls short is skipped.
- FREE, EXCEPT GAS
- Mining pays nothing to the contract. The gas is about 48,962 per mined ticket in a batch of 100 (chapter 11).
- THE MINER
- The site mines on your processor while the page is open and shows your speed, the difficulty now and the average time your device needs for one ticket.
Buying
- EXACT PRICE
- The call takes exactly 0.001 ETH per ticket. The site sends the exact amount.
- TWO LIVES
- A bought ticket carries a shield: it survives one hit.
- WHERE THE MONEY GOES
- 80 % of every bought ticket goes to the pot of its own drop, 20 % to the author.
- NO DIFFICULTY
- Buying does not raise the difficulty.
- ACROSS THE LINE
- If one purchase passes place 1,000, the tickets up to 1,000 join this drop and the rest open the next one, each paying into the pot of its own drop. The site sells at most the places that are left; if the list fills before your transaction lands, the extra tickets join the next drop.
LIVES
One hit cracks a shield. A hit without a shield is out.
- A hit on a live ticket takes one life.
- A bought ticket that loses its first life is CRACKED: one life left.
- A ticket with no lives left is a SYBIL: out of this drop for good.
- A shot at a SYBIL is a miss. Lives never come back.
THE SHOT
Every new ticket fires once, at a place ahead of it. The next block aims.
- WHO SHOOTS
- Every ticket at a place k above 1 fires exactly one shot, at a place from 1 to k-1 of its own drop, each equally likely.
- NOBODY AIMS
- When you mint, the block after yours does not exist yet, so nobody can choose the target: not you, not the author, not a contract wrapped around the call. Robinhood Chain has one sequencer that orders its blocks, and the shots are as fair as that ordering.
- #1 ALWAYS FALLS TO #2
- The only place ahead of #2 is #1. A mined #1 never survives. A bought #1 survives only if, with its shield cracked by #2, it then dodges every later shot: in a full drop about once in a thousand.
- WHEN IT LANDS
- The outcome can be read about a tenth of a second after the mint, as soon as the next block exists. The site and the picture of the ticket show it at once, so a doomed ticket never looks alive. The contract writes it with the next rhdrop transaction from anyone: a call with q tickets of its own applies up to 2q waiting shots, in order; drop() and applyShots(n) up to 1,000.
- THE ELEVEN HOURS
- The chain keeps block hashes for 393,168 blocks, about 11 hours. A waiting shot whose block hash has left that history before anyone applies it is a miss. That only happens if nobody sends any rhdrop transaction for about 11 hours, and then a ticket that such a shot would have knocked out lives on. Anyone can press Drop it once the drop is due.
- HOW OFTEN YOU ARE A TARGET
- The ticket at place k aims at you with a chance of 1 in k-1. Over a full drop, the ticket at #284 is aimed at 1.26 times on average.
WHEN A DROP CLOSES
At 1,000 tickets, or after 6 hours of silence. Anyone can close it.
- AT 1,000
- The 1,000th ticket closes its drop. Its own shot is applied before the payout.
- AFTER 6 HOURS OF SILENCE
- If no ticket has joined for 6 hours, the first rhdrop transaction after that (mint, mine, drop, apply, claim or collect) closes the drop. Transfers and marketplace sales do not count.
- ANYONE
- drop() is open to everyone. After 6 hours of silence the site shows a Drop it button.
- THE PAYOUT
- Once a drop is closed and all its shots are applied, the next drop() or apply pays it out. After a full drop of 1,000 that takes at least one more transaction.
- THE NEXT DROP
- It opens in the block where the last one closed. The next ticket is #1 of the next drop, and the difficulty is back at 20 bits.
- QUIET HOURS
- After an hour without a ticket the site turns to night: "Market's closed. The list is quiet."
- MINING AFTER SIX HOURS
- A mining call after 6 hours of silence would close the old drop itself, and its solutions, anchored in the old drop, would be skipped. Drop it first, then mine.
THE DROP
All of the pot goes to survivors.
The pot of a drop is 80 % of every ticket bought in it, plus anything carried over from the drop before.
- TICKETS BEHIND YOU
- Your weight is the number of tickets of the drop that joined after you. Each of them was one more shot that could have hit you, and each bought one added to the pot.
- THE LAST ONE
- If the only survivor of a group is the last ticket of the drop (weight zero), it takes the whole part of its group.
- NOBODY LEFT
- If a group has no survivors, its part moves to the pot of the next drop and is split 90/10 there again.
- FRONT OF THE LINE
- The first survivor of each group, by place, carries the title FRONT OF THE LINE. A title, not money: its share is counted like anyone else's.
- FOR EXAMPLE
- A full drop with 50 bought tickets (5 %) has a pot of 0.04 ETH: 0.036 ETH for bought survivors, 0.004 ETH for mined survivors. In the median of 400 such drops, 38 bought and 475 mined tickets survive.
- ON THE TICKET
- A survivor shows its share in two significant figures: 0.0000021 ETH INSIDE.
CLAIM, ROLL OR KEEP
No deadline. The share belongs to whoever holds the ticket.
- CLAIM
- claim(id), sent by the owner of a survivor, credits its share to the owner and burns the ticket. collect() then sends all your credit to your wallet. Two transactions; the site walks you through both. "Claimed. Confetti earned, not given."
- ROLL
- roll(id) puts the share back on the list in one call: it buys as many tickets of the current drop as the share pays for, up to 20, at the usual price, and credits the rest. The survivor burns, as with a claim. The new tickets are bought tickets like any other: two lives, their own shots, 80 % of each into the pot and 20 % to the author. The button shows the expected return at the places they will take. "Back on the list."
- KEEP
- Don't claim, and the ticket stays a SURVIVOR with the ETH inside, for as long as you like. Sell it, and the ETH goes with it.
- WHEN IT IS NOT WORTH IT
- claim and collect take about 96,585 and 63,882 gas, together about 0.0000032 ETH at 0.02 gwei. Many mined survivors hold less than that. In a full drop, survivors holding less than the cost of cashing out: about 349 of 505 with 2 % bought, 157 of 512 with 5 %, 73 of 525 with 10 %, 16 of 575 with 30 %. The site says so on the button.
- CREDIT GOES TO THE CALLER
- collect() pays your credit to the address that calls it. A contract that holds a survivor and cannot receive ETH should move the ticket to an ordinary wallet before claiming.
- WHILE YOU WERE AWAY
- A quiet drop closes with nobody watching. Connect your wallet and the site shows your tickets with ETH inside.
YOUR ODDS
Where you stand decides how often you are aimed at.
Early tickets can be shot by almost everyone behind them. Late tickets are rarely hit, but few tickets stand behind them. In a full drop about half the list survives: 505..575 of 1,000, depending on how many were bought.
| Place | Mined ticket survives | Bought ticket survives |
|---|---|---|
| #1 | never | 0.1 % |
| #2 | 0.1 % | 0.8 % |
| #3 | 0.2 % | 1.5 % |
| #10 | 0.9 % | 5.2 % |
| #69 | 6.8 % | 25 % |
| #100 | 9.9 % | 33 % |
| #284 | 28 % | 64 % |
| #420 | 42 % | 78 % |
| #500 | 50 % | 85 % |
| #900 | 90 % | 99.5 % |
| #999 | 99.9 % | 100 % |
| #1,000 | 100 % | 100 % |
These chances are exact for a drop that reaches 1,000 tickets. A drop that closes earlier on silence has fewer tickets behind every place: use the formulas with N as the number of tickets it ended with.
WHAT A BOUGHT TICKET RETURNS
On average 0.72 of its price. Where you stand changes that a lot.
Of every bought ticket, 80 % goes to the pot, and 90 % of the pot goes to bought survivors: 0.8 × 0.9 = 0.72. The other 0.28 is the 20 % of the author and the 8 % that goes to mined survivors.
Expected return of a bought ticket, as a share of its price, in a drop that fills to 1,000:
| Places | 2 % bought | 5 % bought | 10 % bought | 30 % bought |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0.00 |
| #2..#9 | 0.06 | 0.07 | 0.05 | 0.07 |
| #10..#29 | 0.09 | 0.13 | 0.17 | 0.18 |
| #30..#74 | 0.46 | 0.51 | 0.48 | 0.45 |
| #75..#149 | 0.65 | 0.73 | 0.74 | 0.74 |
| #150..#249 | 0.98 | 0.99 | 1.00 | 0.98 |
| #250..#399 | 1.07 | 1.07 | 1.09 | 1.09 |
| #400..#599 | 1.00 | 0.98 | 0.98 | 0.99 |
| #600..#799 | 0.70 | 0.68 | 0.68 | 0.67 |
| #800..#899 | 0.37 | 0.36 | 0.36 | 0.35 |
| #900..#949 | 0.19 | 0.18 | 0.18 | 0.18 |
| #950..#999 | 0.07 | 0.06 | 0.06 | 0.06 |
| #1,000 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0.00 |
- THE MIDDLE IS BEST
- Places 150..599 return about the price, 0.98..1.09. The best band is #250..#399.
- EARLY
- In the first 75 places a bought ticket returns about half its price or less: almost everyone behind it may shoot it.
- LATE
- From #800 the return falls toward zero: the ticket almost surely survives, but almost nobody stands behind it.
- THE SPREAD
- About one bought ticket in three ends above its price. Nine in ten return less than about 1.7 times the price. The best bought ticket of a drop typically gets 2.0..2.3 times.
- THE FIRST BOUGHT SURVIVOR
- FRONT OF THE LINE, typically stands at #153, #85, #58 and #33 with 2, 5, 10 and 30 % bought.
- MINED SURVIVORS
- The typical (median) share of a mined survivor is 0.000003, 0.000007, 0.000016 and 0.00006 ETH with 2, 5, 10 and 30 % bought.
- AT THE BUY BUTTON
- "Expected back at #613: 0.98 of the price, if the list fills." is computed in your browser from the list as it stands: who is alive ahead, the pot so far and the share of bought tickets so far, as if the drop then fills to 1,000. If the drop closes earlier on silence, which on a quiet list is the usual case, the real result differs.
DIFFICULTY
The more tickets mined in a drop, the harder the next one. Every drop starts again at 20 bits.
| Mined so far | Bits | A median phone, 5 million hashes a second | One RTX 4090, about 5 billion a second |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 20 | 0.2 s | under 0.01 s |
| 100 | 22 | 0.8 s | under 0.01 s |
| 200 | 25 | 6.7 s | under 0.01 s |
| 280 | 27 | 27 s | 0.03 s |
| 400 | 30 | 3.6 min | 0.2 s |
| 480 | 32 | 14 min | 0.8 s |
| 600 | 35 | 1.9 h | 6.8 s |
| 700 | 37 | 7.6 h | 27 s |
| 800 | 40 | 2.5 days | 3.6 min |
| 900 | 42 | 10 days | 14 min |
| 999 | 44 | 41 days | 58 min |
- AVERAGES
- A solution of b bits takes 2 to the power b hashes on average; luck makes it shorter or longer.
- ONLY MINING COUNTS
- Bought tickets do not raise the difficulty.
- RESET
- When a drop closes, MINED goes back to 0.
- YOUR DEVICE
- The site measures your real speed while mining and shows the time for your device.
- A PHONE AND A CARD
- A phone with 10 minutes of patience can reach about the 480th mined ticket of a drop, if farms are asleep. One RTX 4090 passes those 480 in about 34 seconds.
THE MONEY
Who gets what from every bought ticket, and what gas costs.
| A bought ticket | To the pot of its drop | To the author |
|---|---|---|
| 0.001 ETH | 0.0008 ETH, 80 % | 0.0002 ETH, 20 % |
- FROM THE POT
- 90 % to bought survivors and 10 % to mined survivors of that drop. A group with no survivors passes its part to the next drop.
- ROYALTY
- 5 % of secondary sales goes to the author (ERC-2981, enforced with ERC721-C). Royalties paid in tokens such as USDG are swept to the author.
- NOTHING ELSE
- No fee on mining, claiming or collecting. The 20 % of the author is credited in the same transaction and withdrawn with collect().
- GAS
- goes to the chain and is paid by whoever sends a transaction. Typical gas, and its cost at 0.02 gwei:
| Call | Gas | ETH at 0.02 gwei |
|---|---|---|
| buy 1 ticket | 118,010 | 0.0000024 |
| buy 1 ticket, first time from a new address | 137,110 | 0.0000027 |
| buy 20 tickets | 1,009,647 | 0.000020 |
| mine, per ticket in a batch of 100 | 48,962 | 0.00000098 |
| claim | 96,585 | 0.0000019 |
| collect | 63,882 | 0.0000013 |
| drop, worst case with 1,000 shots waiting | about 16.8 million | about 0.00034 |
| transfer | about 81,000 | 0.0000016 |
A call with q tickets of its own can also carry up to 2q waiting shots of other tickets, up to about 17,300 gas each. The site sets the gas limit for that.
FARMS
Farms mine too, and every ticket they mine is a shot.
- A farm with graphics cards can take hundreds of places of a fresh drop in seconds. One RTX 4090 mines the first 480 places of a drop in about 34 seconds, and one transaction carries up to 300 tickets.
- On the list a farm batch is one event: "A farm fired 600 shots. 300 sybils."
- A mined ticket costs a farm about 0.1..1.5 % of the ticket price in electricity and gas.
- The 10 % of the pot for mined survivors goes mostly to farms. Farms barely change what a bought ticket returns; what they take, they take from phones.
- A phone gets the first places of a fresh drop when farms are asleep. Mining is free; it is not a promise.
WHAT IT IS NOT
Things the list does not have, on purpose.
- NOT AN INVESTMENT
- It is a game. A bought ticket returns 0.72 of its price on average, and two bought tickets in three return less than they cost. Nothing on this page or on the site promises you more than you put in.
- NOT ROBINHOOD
- rhdrop is an independent project on Robinhood Chain. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood Markets, Inc. It hands out no Robinhood token; the only drop is the pot of the list, paid in ETH from tickets bought in it.
- NO OWNER
- No admin key, no pause, no upgrade. Nobody can stop the list, change the price or take the pot.
- NO PREMINE
- Every ticket is mined or bought through the same calls, the author's too.
- NO SCHEDULE
- No opening hour, no seasons, no timer run by anyone. Mints move the list; block hashes decide the shots.
- NO LIMITS
- No limit per wallet, no allowlist, no cap on tickets. Work and the price are the only filters.
- NO SERVER
- The rules live on chain. The site is a static page that reads the chain; if it ever disappears, the contract still works through any block explorer.
- NO SIGNATURES
- The site only ever asks your wallet to send transactions to the rhdrop contract. It never asks you to sign a message, approve a token or share a recovery phrase. Anyone who does is not rhdrop. The only address of the game is rhdrop.xyz.

RISKS
An honest note. No forecasts.
- THE CROWD DECIDES
- The pot is only what people buy. A quiet list pays close to nothing.
- QUIET DROPS
- On a quiet list most drops end after 6 hours of silence with nobody watching. Your ETH waits inside your ticket.
- PLACE
- Early tickets are almost always shot; late ones almost always survive, with almost nobody behind them.
- FARMS
- In busy hours the free path belongs to them.
- DUST
- Many mined survivors hold less than the gas it takes to claim.
- THE FLOOR
- Every full drop leaves 425..495 SYBIL tickets for good. After claims, most tickets left are SYBILs, and the cheapest token of the collection is a SYBIL.
- WAITING SHOTS
- If nobody sends an rhdrop transaction for about 11 hours, waiting shots become misses.
- GAS
- A call carries up to 2q waiting shots of other tickets. The site sets the gas limit for it; tools that set their own limit may run out of gas.
- THE SEQUENCER
- One sequencer orders the blocks of Robinhood Chain; the shots are as fair as its ordering.
- THE MACHINE
- Contracts can have faults. This one has no owner and cannot be patched.
- WALLET WARNINGS
- Wallet security services sometimes flag new sites by mistake. The only address of the game is rhdrop.xyz.
CALLS
Every button of the site and the call it sends.
| Button | Call | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Buy a ticket | mint(qty) | 1..20 tickets, exactly 0.001 ETH each |
| Mine a ticket, then Get on the list | mine(anchor, nonces) | up to 300 solutions; the anchor in this drop, at most 35,000 blocks old |
| Drop it | drop() | anyone; closes a drop that is due, applies up to 1,000 waiting shots, pays a closed drop |
| no button | applyShots(n) | anyone; applies up to n waiting shots, at most 1,000, pays a closed drop |
| Claim the drop | claim(id) | the owner of a survivor; burns it and credits its share |
| Roll into Drop #n | roll(id) | the owner of a survivor with a share of at least 0.001 ETH; burns it, buys up to 20 tickets of the current drop with the share, credits the rest |
| Collect | collect() | sends all your credit |
Every rhdrop call first closes a drop that is due and applies waiting shots within its limit, then does its own work. A call that reverts leaves no trace.
